विरूद्धार्थी शब्दांच्या जोडया, Opposite words

 

 विरूद्धार्थी शब्द हा इंग्रजी भाषा अभ्यासातील अतिशय मनोरंजक प्रकार आहे . कारण विरूध्द अर्थाचे शब्द शिकत असताना खूप उत्सुकता वाटते. याचे कारण म्हणजे आपण अगदी सहजपणे त्यांचे  विविध  प्रकार लक्षात ठेवू शकतो आणि गंमत म्हणजे ते वापरताना लोकांकडून होणार्‍या गफलती पाहिल्या की हसू  पण खूप येते . आपण इंग्रजीतील विरूद्धार्थी शब्द कसे तयार करावेत हे तर शिकणार आहोतच पण त्याअगोदर खालील मजेदार किस्सा वाचा.
मी परवा माझ्या एका भरपूर शिकलेल्या मित्रासोबत गप्पा मारत चाललो होतो . चालताना त्याच्या घराच्या चालू असलेल्या बांधकामाचा विषय निघाला . मी विचारलं बांधकाम का बंद पडले रे भाऊ ... तो म्हणाला,  गवंडी लोक खूप सतावतात राव...कोणतेही एक काम complete  करत नाहीत. सगळी कामे uncomplete  ठेवतात.
आता झाली का पंचाईत ! इंग्रजी भाषेत complete चा विरूद्धार्थी शब्द  incomplete आहे आणि भाऊ म्हणाले uncomplete! 
यासारखी भरपूर उदाहरणे आपल्याला दररोज बघायला मिळतात. लोक incorrect ऐवजी uncorrect म्हणतात . त्यानंतरही बरीच उदाहरणे आहेत . पुढच्या वेळी ज्यावेळी तुम्ही इंग्रजी बोलताना ऐकाल त्यावेळी अशा शब्दांवर थोडे लक्ष असू दया ......
