 The ची खालील माहिती फक्त एकदा वाचा ...पुन्हा कधीच अडचण येणार नाही ...

आपण नेहमी the हे article  म्हणजे उपपद वापरतो . The हे definite article आहे. The चा वापर कुठे आणि कसा केला जातो याबद्दल आपण या पोस्टमध्ये जाणून घेऊया . पण त्याअगोदर the  चा  'द' आणि 'दी' या दोन प्रकारे उच्चार का आणि केंव्हा केला जातो या विषयी थोडक्यात  माहिती घेऊ या.

01) the ( दी) : The ला 'दी' केव्हा म्हणतात ...

The नंतर येणारा शब्द  जर स्वर ध्वनी (vowel sound)  ने सुरू होत असेल तर अशावेळी 'दी' असा उच्चार करावा .

1) the (दी)  ice-cream 
2) the (दी)  onion 
3) the ( दी) organism
4) the (दी) east
5) the (दी)  ant 
6) the (दी) apple 
7) the (दी) umpire

02) The ला 'द' केव्हा म्हणतात .....

The नंतर येणारा शब्द जर व्यंजन ध्वनी (consonant sound)   ने सुरू होत असेल तर अशावेळी 'द' असा उच्चार करावा .

चला आता आपण the बद्दल सर्व प्रकारची महत्वपूर्ण माहिती घेऊया म्हणजे पुन्हा पुन्हा अडचण येणार नाही ....खरं सांगायचं म्हणजे the हा शब्द that शब्दापासून तयार झाला आहे .आपल्याला चांगले माहिती आहे की इंग्रजी भाषेत तीन articles म्हणजे उपपदे आहेत. ती तीन उपपदे म्हणजे a, an, आणि the ही आहेत. A आणि an यांना अनिश्चित उपपदे म्हणतात आणि the ला निश्चित उपपद असे म्हणतात ....असे का बरे ? The वेगळे का समजतात...? 

याचे कारण बघा ....

The आपण पूर्णपणे ओळख असलेल्या गोष्टीसाठी वापरतो म्हणजे आपण the लावले की समजावे ती वस्तू आपल्या ओळखीची आहे ... म्हणूनच the हे निश्चित उपपद आहे ....

याउलट a आणि an हे नवीन आणि ओळख नसलेल्या एकवचनी नामाबद्दल वापरतात....

चला ही माहिती थोडक्यात आणि इंग्रजी भाषेत खाली दिलेली आहे ..बघा तुम्हाला समजते का ते...पण the चा उपयोग कोठे कोठे केला पाहिजे ते खाली लिहिलेले  सर्व नियम मात्र नक्की वाचा बरं का मित्रांनो ...

Now let's talk about 'the' as an article.... 
In fact 'the' is weak form of 'that'. 
We know that there are three articles in English.  'A' and 'An' are called  as indefinite articles whereas 'The' is said to be a definite article. 'The' is used to define a particular thing or person so it is called as a definite article.

The विरूद्ध A, An.....फरक लक्षात ठेवा ...

 * एखादे नाम (countable noun) आपण पहिल्यांदाच वापरले की त्यापूर्वी  'A' आणि 'An' यांचा  उपयोग करायला पाहिजे पण आपण ज्यावेळी एका विशिष्ट नामाबद्दल( म्हणजे ज्याची आपल्याला माहिती आहे अशा नामाबद्दल)  बोलू किंवा लिहू लागलो की मात्र the वापरायला पाहिजे. 
खालील दोन वाक्ये पहा.......
1) I saw an old man. ( या वृध्द माणसाला तुम्ही ओळखत नाही .)
2) I saw the old man. (या वृध्द माणसाला तुम्ही अगोदरच ओळखता.)
चला तर मग मनामध्ये दोन्ही प्रकारची दहा दहा वाक्ये बोला.......

'The's used with an adjective with a plural concept to represent a class of persons. Here adjective is used as a noun to represent a class. 

1) The weak  ( All weak people) 
Ex.  The weak should be protected by government. 
2) The foregetful (All forgetfull people) 
Ex. The forgetful should be treated emphatically.
3) The kind ( All kind people) 
Ex. The kind are always helpful. 
4) The wealthy ( All wealthy  people) 
Ex. The wealthy should keep donating.

U)  'The'चा उपयोग सामान्य नामासोबत केला की त्याचा अर्थ बदलतो ...

1)The dog is an honest animal. 
कुत्रा हा इमानदार प्राणी आहे ..(सर्वच कुत्रे) 
2) The leopard is carnivores. 
चित्ता मासाहारी प्राणी आहे ...(सर्वच चित्ते) 

The is used with common nouns where one noun represents the entire species. 

1) The dog is an honest animal. (It means all dogs.) 
2) The man is mortal. ( It means all men.) 
3) The leopard is carnivores. (All leopards)
4) The snail is a slow creature. (All snails)

V) 'The'चा उपयोग my, our, your, his, her, their या  शब्दांना काढून त्यांच्या जागेवर करतात...

खालील दोन वाक्ये पहा ....

1) त्याने माझ्या कपाळावर मारले.

2) तुटकी वीट त्याच्या पायावर आदळली.

The is used in place of possesive adjectives. 
1) He hit me on the forehead. 
Ex.  In above sentence 'the' is used in place of 'my'.
2) Pelted stone struck him on the chest. 
Ex. In above sentence 'the' is used in place of 'his'.
3) Broken brick banged  her on the foot. 
Ex.  In above sentence 'the' is used in place of 'her'
4) Enemies hit you on the neck. 
Ex. In above sentence 'the' is used in place of 'your'.
